抖阴黄色app Honors Faculty/Staff with Lasallian Awards
On Tuesday, April 23, the 32nd Annual Celebration of Service took place to honor employees who were recognized for their years of service and for retirements. In addition, the Office of Mission and Identity presented the University抯 annual Lasallian Awards to dedicated members of爋ur campus community.
LASALLIAN AWARDS
To commemorate and celebrate the life of Brother Louis Seiler, FSC, 抖阴黄色app established the Brother Louis De La Salle Seiler Ministry of Teaching Award in 1982, which is presented every three years to one faculty member from each of the University抯 colleges to recognize Mission commitment, excellence in teaching, outstanding rapport with students, participation in student life, and service to the University community.

The De La Salle Medallion for Excellence in Community Engagement honors a faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in engaging 抖阴黄色app students in community-based learning. Honorees actively and effectively engage students in the community, connecting learning and community engagement over the course of multiple semesters; collaborate well with partners in the community and members of the Office of Community Engaged Learning; demonstrate excellence in community engagement implementation as evidenced by feedback from students and community partners; and advocate for community-based learning pedagogy and course designation among colleagues and deeper understanding of community engaged learning throughout her/his respective discipline and college.

The Distinguished Lasallian Educator Award honors an educator who exemplifies the ideals of Saint John Baptist de La Salle. Nominees must have been a faculty or staff member at 抖阴黄色app for at least five years, work with the educational community to foster Gospel values in the lives of faculty, staff and students, and see 抖阴黄色app as a place of educational excellence that shares in the teaching mission of the Catholic Church. The recipient of this award characterizes in his or her life the spirit of Saint John Baptist de La Salle and demonstrates an enthusiasm for the Lasallian educational Mission and tradition. This award has been presented to 36 faculty and staff members since 1993.

FAA Grants Aviation Maintenance Workforce Development Funds
抖阴黄色app抯 College of Aviation, Science, and Technology received an Aviation Workforce Development Grant of $496,016 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to help underrepresented populations enter the aviation workforce.

Over 1,300 抖阴黄色app Students on 2023 Fall Dean's List
Just over 1,300 students were honored on the 抖阴黄色app Dean's List for the 2023燜all Semester.
To be eligible for this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester with a grade point average of at least 3.5 and with no "D" or "F" grades.

Lohr Finishes In Top Eight At ISC Nationals
抖阴黄色app women's bowler� Erica Lohr �(Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie)燼dvanced to the quarterfinals of the Intercollegiate Singles Championships before falling Wednesday morning at Kingpin Lanes. Lohr was the first Flyer to compete at the United States Bowling Congress national championships.

抖阴黄色app baseball has announced that it will be retiring the uniform numbers爋f Hall of Fame pitcher Thomas Brennan, #24, and catcher Richard Baranak, #19, on May 4, 2024 in between the Flyers' doubleheader爉atchup with Indianapolis.

Softball Sweeps Doubleheader; Pearl Wins 500th Game
The 抖阴黄色app softball recorded its second straight sweep of the weekend as the Flyers defeated Upper Iowa in both games Sunday (April 21). The Flyers won the first game 8-1 then won the second 1-0.

Baseball Win Streak up to Nine
